I bought an ivory coloured baby mattress cover a few years ago and it fits perfectly over my double bed headboard.
The headboard is covered in non detachable dark blue velvet.
Even though the headboard is not a rectangle, but pointed, it fits perfectly.
The shade of the baby mattress cover complements my silk pillow cases and linen sheets and duvet covers.
It is also washable, unlike the fixed cover on the headboard.
Maybe The Little Silk Company could point out this alternative use for their fitted silk sheets.

Absolutely love these sheets bought as my baby was starting to lose a bit of hair at the back, I am very glad I did it definitely stopped the hair loss in its tracks and allowed the babies hair to grow back in. The sheets are made to a high quality there has been no threads loose or any other signs of wear they still look as good as new even after being washed multiple times I always hand wash the sheets.

I purchased these cot sheets for my daughter who has suffered with very bad eczema on her face. Although i dont know if the clearing up of her eczema is down to the silk sheets - it had 100% helped keep her face in the best condition. On top of this, i've noticed a huge difference in her hair which is so much smoother when she wakes. I am about to place an order for more!
