Our baby is pretty small and wiggles a lot in his bed so he often ends up with his head on the cotton bit of the sheet. If your baby is big, doesn't move too much, or is a bit older, you should be good with this half silk one but it's worth putting the extra few $ to get full silk.

It's been a couple of weeks we have started using those silk sheets and we can start seeing a noticeable difference with his hair. He also had a light irritations in his cheeks that have completely gone since we started using silk. The sheets do stain quite easily with drool etc. so already ordered a few extras because we tend to wash them more often than regular cotton ones.

Really happy about this purchase! My 5 month old daughter had a bald patch at the back of her head since she rubs her head on her mattress. Since getting this crib sheet I've noticed that her hair has fallen out less. I might also get a second one since I've liked it so much.

I bought an ivory coloured baby mattress cover a few years ago and it fits perfectly over my double bed headboard.
The headboard is covered in non detachable dark blue velvet.
Even though the headboard is not a rectangle, but pointed, it fits perfectly.
The shade of the baby mattress cover complements my silk pillow cases and linen sheets and duvet covers.
It is also washable, unlike the fixed cover on the headboard.
Maybe The Little Silk Company could point out this alternative use for their fitted silk sheets.
